Red Dead Redemption Not On Steam

Grand Theft Auto V’s near-eternal rampage across the Steam charts would suggest that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be safe at least business-wise. As for developmentally, consoles release first then a solid PC version later – so they can focus on it properly – would sound sensible. Sep 20, 2018 - Is Rockstar's upcoming game Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC? The answer seems obvious, if not exactly straightforward. Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems. Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. Nov 21, 2018 - Here's when we think Red Dead Redemption 2's PC release date could be. Yup, that's right, consoles: Rockstar decided not to grace the PC.

Eh, I may get flamed for this, but I found RDR not that great as people make it out to be. I didn't like certain aspects of the game that threw me off, but I still managed to finish it. Wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. Just an okay game, that you should play once and then leave. Just my opinion. Gamerperson33 I am with you. I found the story bland and completely seperate from the gameplay.

I could play as a complete jerk but my story is about redemption? Doesn't make much sense. The combat was so easy (you have to turn off the auto aim in the bullit time mode, after that it's still pathetically easy) and repetitive. It looked pretty though. Also I hated the horse riding, I don't care how 'real' it felt, it was just annoying to me.

[QUOTE='hrt_rulz01'][QUOTE='Cwagmire21'] [QUOTE='Masenkoe'] My thoughts when I saw this thread. Blissful hope that it could somehow be out, but unknown?

It's a great game and it's shame that it wasn't ported at the very least.:( It is a great shame. What I'd do to play it on PC!!!

I could honestly say, wholeheartedly that I would buy ANOTHER copy of RDR just to play it on the PC. Not for better, sharper graphics - no. I would buy it on the PC just to have an excuse to play it all over again.

It's such a wonderful game. [QUOTE='hrt_rulz01'][QUOTE='Cwagmire21'] Blissful hope that it could somehow be out, but unknown? It's a great game and it's shame that it wasn't ported at the very least.:( Elann2008 It is a great shame.

It's probably the only game I miss since I sold my PS3 and came back to PC. [QUOTE='Elann2008'][QUOTE='hrt_rulz01'] It is a great shame. What I'd do to play it on PC!!!

Stuff like this is why I could never be a one system kind of guy.

There's always one truly amazing exclusive or title that gets made for Xbox and PS3 but not PC, or for Xbox and PC but not PS3. Its maddening, and I'd hate to miss out on some awesome Game of Forever because I had the wrong system it was not made for. I get the best of all worlds this way, but sadly I've missed out on a lot of great Nintendo stuff this gen since I decided to wait for the Wii U (and all its BC) before getting back into Nintendo's world. Red Dead Redemption is one of my top 10 or even 5 games of all time I think, though the pacing could have been better and it was a bit boring for small stretches, the story and gameplay kept it great for me.

[QUOTE='kris9031998'][QUOTE='Vlaimir_Lem86'] Console Only. Itll never port to PC, sadly. Much like Dark Souls. Vlaimir_Lem86 No, Namco might be porting Dark souls. Have you been listening to any of the news articles about the petition? Yes, and ive also watch TotalHalibut (TotalBiscuits) youtube channel, which raked in heaps of signers to that petition (including myself).

'MIGHT' is a word that i dont hold onto strongly. So until i hear something from Namco, the 'real' answer still stands as, no.Well it certainly got their attention.
